Save your Pagatu documents to Google Drive
Pagatu keeps a copy of every document you send in your Google Drive, as PDF, DOCX or both, organized in folders by type, year and month.
What you can do
Auto backup
With auto backup on, documents that are sent, accepted, signed, completed or issued are copied to your Drive.
PDF, DOCX or both
You choose which formats each copy is saved in.
Organized folders
Pagatu › Documents › document type › year › month, with each file named after the document number.
Manual save
You can also save a single document with “Save to Google Drive”.
How it works
Copies are made from your session: when you open the Documents list, Pagatu checks which documents are ready to be copied and uploads them to your Drive.
An issued document that was already copied is not uploaded again. A draft, or a file whose copy failed, is updated in place instead of being duplicated.
Pagatu never deletes files from your Drive. If you delete the main folder, it is created again on the next copy.
What data it uses
- It can only see and edit the files Pagatu creates in your Drive; it does not access the rest of your files.
- It copies Pagatu professional documents: quotes, proposals, contracts and agreements, letters and others.
- Your Google access details are stored encrypted.
How to connect Google Drive to Pagatu
Sign in to Pagatu
Log in to your account.
Open Integrations
In the sidebar, open Integrations and find Google Drive.
Click “Connect”
Pagatu takes you to Google to choose the account.
Grant the permission
Google asks for permission for Pagatu to create and manage its own files in your Drive.
Turn on auto backup
You return to Integrations with Google Drive connected. Under Manage you turn on auto backup and choose the formats.
How to disconnect it
In Integrations › Google Drive › Manage, click “Disconnect”. Pagatu stops making copies and removes the Drive access details from your account.
Files already in your Drive stay there. If you also want to remove the permission in Google, do it from the security section of your Google account.
Frequently asked questions
Are documents copied as soon as I create them?
No. Documents that are sent, accepted, signed, completed or issued are copied, and the copy runs when you open the Documents list in Pagatu.
Can Pagatu see my other Drive files?
No. The permission it asks for only gives access to the files Pagatu itself creates.
What happens if I change a document that was already copied?
If it is a draft, the copy is updated in the same file. An issued document that was already copied is not uploaded again.
Is it available on the Free plan?
No. Backups use PDF and DOCX export, available on the Pro and Business plans.
